December 25 is a day for being with friends and family.

And this year in Dubai, there is the opportunity to go for an evening walk to round off the celebrations by watching a firework display.

With six destinations in the city putting on shows, courtesy of Dubai Shopping Festival, it means that wherever you are based in Dubai you will be close to a pretty sky show.
Al Seef
A firework display will light up creekside destination Al Seef on Sunday December 25. Get to the spot to see the sky decorated with glittering pyrotechnics as you walk off your Christmas dinner.

The Beach
The Beach will be lit up with fireworks on Christmas Day. The location, opposite JBR and Bluewaters Island, means that either of the popular spots are well worth heading to.

Burj Al Arab
You are sure to get some really cool pics if you get to a vantage point of the Burj Al Arab on Christmas Day evening. Good places to get a view of the iconic building framed by fireworks are Black Palace Beach, Kite Beach, Souk Madinat Jumeirah and Umm Suqeim Park.

Dubai Creek

Want to be waterside when you see the fireworks go off on Christmas Day? Then get down to Dubai Creek. Otherwise known as Khor Dubai, the natural Dubai creek from the Arabian Gulf spans 14km, and boasts a relaxed vibe (perfect after a busy Christmas Day).

Dubai Frame
Zabeel Park is where to go to get a good view of the fireworks that will go off above Dubai Frame on Christmas 25. Sounds like a great way to get some steps in before the feasting commences on Boxing Day.

Dubai Festival City Mall
Celebrate Christmas by watching a firework display at Dubai Festival City Mall on December 25. It won’t just be the fireworks as the IMAGINE show will also go off which will include water fountains, lights and lasers.
