African Alliance Assures Stakeholders On Payment Of Genuine Claims

African Alliance Insurance Plc has assured its stakeholders on continuous payment of genuine claims, even as it said, it is still active and in operation in the insurance industry.

This is even as it debunked a report in a publication on one of the national dailies. .

In a telephone conversation with the executive director (Technical), Wasiu Amao, he stated: “First and foremost, we want to assure all our stakeholders that African Alliance is still very much operational and committed to paying all genuine claims.

“Annuity payments have also commenced and are being processed diligently to ensure they are completed as soon as possible. We have engaged our customers on multiple channels intimating them on the payment progress. All pending claims will also be honoured in due course, as we are fully committed to resolving these matters”.

Speaking on its recent operational adjustments, Amao said, “it is important to clarify that African Alliance has not shut down. Due to the nationwide protests that began on August 1, we temporarily transitioned to remote work to ensure the safety of our staff and clients.

“However, critical staff were on ground all through the protest period. Full onsite operations resumed on Thursday August 8, 2024. We regret any inconvenience this temporary measure may have caused and appreciate the understanding of our stakeholders during this period.”

Amao further stated that African Alliance is built to stand the test of time as it is actively working on the turnaround plans requested by the National Insurance Commission(NAICOM) and are committed to fulfilling its obligations to all stakeholders.

Saying the management team remains intact and its website is fully operational as part of its ongoing commitment to serving its clients, he added that, “We are here to stay, and we will continue to strive to provide excellent service and a great customer experience.

“We thank our policyholders for their continued trust and support. African Alliance will continue to work tirelessly to satisfy our customers and uphold the standards of professionalism and good conduct expected in the industry.”
