Angola No Longer Requires Yellow Fever Certificate for Citizens of 148 Countries

Angola no longer requires the international certificate of vaccination against yellow fever from citizens of 148 countries considered free of the disease, according to a Presidential Order.

The document said that the measure came into force on October 26, stressing that, in certain countries, yellow fever does not pose a threat to public health, establishing measures that aim, on the one hand, to prevent and, on the other, to reduce bureaucracy in the entry and exit of citizens from these countries.

The list of countries exempt from the yellow fever certificate includes 25 African countries, 11 American, 46 Asian, 12 from the Caribbean Pacific region, four from Oceania and 50 Europeans, according to the Presidential Decree, quoted today by Lusa.

Thus, those who wish to visit Angola for a period of 30 days will only need a valid passport to enter the country.
