Training Against Sexual Abuse Promoted in Cazenga

The Mosaiko Institute for Citizenship promoted a training on “Community participation in the prevention of sexual abuse”, in the municipality of Cazenga, from 24 to 26 October.

The training aimed to contribute to a culture of improved protection for victims of sexual abuse within families and communities.

On the other hand, it also aimed to train the participants in order to acquire more knowledge about how to prevent, avoid, when to activate defense mechanisms in the face of a crime of sexual abuse.

The activity, according to the institute on its Facebook page, was an initiative of the Local Human Rights Group – Associação Mulher Raiz da Vida and took place in Kalawenda, in the municipality of Cazenga.

The training was attended by a group of 30 participants.
