Armenia to Sign Peace Deal With Azerbaijan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pachinian said yesterday that he hopes to sign a peace agreement with Azerbaijan “in the coming months” following Baku’s victory over Armenian separatists in Nagorno-Karabakh.

The two countries “are expected to sign a peace agreement and an agreement on the establishment of relations in the coming months,” Pachinian told an international forum in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Azerbaijan regained control of Nagorno-Karabakh in September after a military offensive that led to the capitulation of separatist forces within 24 hours.
