The African Development Bank is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from consultants for the Kigali Urban Transport Improvement (KUTI) project in Rwanda.

The work scope includes detailed designs of the seven junctions of KUTI, considering the surrounding environment and climate-resilient infrastructure.

The project aims to improve and upgrade selected seven junctions, enhance public transport services, provide non-motorised transport facilities in urban areas and implement a multimodal transport system under the urban transport plan.

Consultants should have 15 years of experience in road junction/interchange design and construction supervision, as well as experience in designing and supervising at least three grade-separated junctions in 10 years.

Moreover, they should have worked in Sub-Saharan Africa or similar conditions.

“Consultants may have joint ventures to enhance their chances of qualification,” the invite stated.

The estimated duration of the consultancy is 12 months, the invite said.

The final date for submitting EOI is 21 April 2023.
